Secure Data Transmission of Electronic Health Records Using Blockchain Technology

Electronic Health Records (EHR) serve as a solid documentation of health transactions and vital resource information for healthcare stakeholders. EHR integrity security issues, however, continue to be intractable. Blockchain-based architectures, address the issues very effectively. In this work, we suggest decentralized patient-centered data management (PCHDM) with blockchain-based framework confidentiality, access control, privacy record. This patient-centric architecture keeps patient at center control secured storage data. It is effective in environment interplanetary file system (IPFS) blockchain technology. order unauthorized users, proposed secure password authentication-based key exchange (SPAKE) implements smart contract-based policies. The experimental setup comprises four hyperledger fabric nodes level DB database IPFS off-chain storage. was evaluated using public hepatitis dataset, parameters such block creation time, transactional computational overhead encryption size, uploading/downloading time size. enables SPAKE algorithm.
